Organic photovoltaic cell (blueberry)

This video shows how to prepare solar cells with organic material. The technique of capturing sunlight absorption recalls how it works the blueberry film.

The Video describes how to induce the production of a polymer from a monomer to yield electricity. The photosensitive material that produces electricity from sunlight is composed mostly from organic pigments, in particular blueberry. The electrodes are made of nanostructured titanium dioxide.

Another important part is the electrolyte solution of salts that can close the circuit and continue to circle the electrons produced by the photovoltaic process.
